It’s an easy way to prepare a Thanksgiving turkey and free up your fryer or oven for other recipes.
- Two cups water
- 12 lbs. whole turkey
- Two teaspoons garlic powder
- Three tablespoons chicken bouillon powder
- Two teaspoons onion powder
- One teaspoon poultry seasoning
- One teaspoon paprika
- Half teaspoon chopped parsley
Get ready an open-air grill on indirect medium heat and gently oil grate. Wash turkey and pat dry. After that, place the bird on the grill and sear on both sides until the skin is an attractive golden brown.
In a big roasting pan, blend the water, garlic, chicken bouillon powder, onion, parsley, poultry seasoning and paprika collectively. Add the bird breast down and scoop the mixture throughout it. Cover firmly with foil and position on the grill.
You’ll need to grill for around three to four hours, until the inner temperature of the thigh reaches 82°C or 180°F. Once done, remove turkey from grill and let stand fifteen minutes before carving.
